San Blas from the Deck of a Luxury Yacht

The Yacht Freedom – Hanse 630

Freedom isn’t just a yacht — for one unforgettable week, it becomes your home on the sea.

A seven-day voyage aboard Freedom is the kind of experience that stays with you: comfortable travel, wild nature, turquoise lagoons, water activities and that rare feeling of true calm — no stress, no noise, no crowded resorts.
DAY 4

A deserted island, just for you

We have our secret spots. Today is for islands where you won’t meet other tourists.
Snorkel over untouched coral, paddleboard around the yacht, or simply disappear into a hammock with a book. In the evening, we’ll light a fire on the beach beneath the palms — and watch the water sparkle with glowing plankton.
DAY 5

From the deck into the jungle

Time to swap swimwear for sturdy shoes. We head to the mainland for a day that takes your breath away — not a packaged excursion, but a real experience with the Guna.
We walk through tropical rainforest to villages hidden deep in the green, taste freshly cut sugarcane, and discover places few travellers ever see.
The destination: cascading waterfalls. A jump into cool, fresh water in the heart of the jungle is the kind of moment you’ll remember for years.
DAY 6

Dinner in a “restaurant” in Cayos Holandeses

Coffee from a local Panamanian supplier. Diving on a reef that feels like the world’s most beautiful aquarium. A beach you have entirely to yourself. You’re already living at a different pace.
In the afternoon we sail about an hour to Cayos Holandeses — one of the jewels of San Blas. The water is so clear you can spot starfish metres below.
If you fancy a change from onboard delicacies, we can arrange dinner in a local “restaurant” where the sea literally washes over your feet.
DAY 7

Saying goodbye to turquoise

A final morning swim. One last shared breakfast on deck. We return slowly — but you take home a quiet kind of peace that only the ocean (and the warmth of the Guna people) can give

DAY 2

Course set for San Blas

In the morning we weigh anchor. Around five hours of sailing along Panama’s wild coastline gives you a real feel for the yacht. Freedom is fast, solid and graceful — she slices through the sea with effortless elegance.
We end the day in our first calm bay in the San Blas archipelago, far from civilisation.
DAY 3

The gateway to Guna Yala

Morning coffee with a turquoise horizon. We’re safely tucked behind the coral reef, so the water is calm — like a giant mirror.
Guna locals glide up in their dugout canoes (ululu), offering the day’s fresh catch. We make a gentle one-hour hop between palm islands straight out of a postcard, then drop anchor by a deserted atoll: just you, white sand and a few palms.
In the afternoon we visit our first Guna families. You’ll feel their simple joy and see what real slow living looks like. We’ll show you molas — hand-stitched textiles that are a living symbol of Guna culture. Every pattern tells a story, and it’s a beautiful way to take a piece of authentic art home.
We’ll buy fresh lobster or fish from the locals and grill it on board — you won’t find anything fresher in a restaurant
